Secret Story - Casa dos Segredos 2010

Secret Story takes more or less the basic principles of Big Brother, a reality show created in 1997 by the Dutchman John de Mol. The game contestants are cut off from the rest of the world during ten to fifteen weeks in a house called “house of secrets”, where every room is fitted with video cameras, except the restroom. They have to keep a secret while trying to discover the other contestants’ one.

My Kitchen Rules 2010

My Kitchen Rules is an Australian competitive cooking game show broadcast on the Seven Network since 2010. The series is produced by the team who created the Seven reality show My Restaurant Rules, and was put into production based on the success of Network Ten's MasterChef Australia. My Kitchen Rules has just been renewed by the Seven Network for a fifth series.

American Idol 2002

American Idol is an American reality-singing competition program created by Simon Fuller. It began airing on Fox on June 11, 2002, as an addition to the Idols format based on the British series Pop Idol and has since become one of the most successful shows in the history of American television. The concept of the series is to find new solo recording artists where the winner is determined by the viewers in America.

Survivor 2000

A reality show contest where sixteen or more castaways split between two or more “Tribes” are taken to a remote isolated location and are forced to live off the land with meager supplies for roughly 39 days. Frequent physical challenges are used to pit the tribes against each other for rewards, such as food or luxuries, or for “Immunity”, forcing the other tribe to attend “Tribal Council”, where they must vote off one of their players.

The Challenge 1998

Each Challenge pits numerous cast members from past seasons of Real World and Road Rules against each other (only the Fresh Meat Challenge has introduced new cast members that have never appeared on either The Real World or Road Rules), dividing them into two separate teams according to different criteria, such as by gender, which of the two shows they first appeared on, whether or not they're veterans or rookies on the show, etc. The two teams compete in numerous missions in order to win prizes and advance in the overall game.

Law of the Jungle 2011

Law of the Jungle is a South Korean reality-documentary show on SBS. It was first aired on October 21, 2011. This show is a hybrid of reality-variety television, natural documentaries, and human drama; a new concept of programming. The cast of celebrities travel to primitive, natural places to survive on their own and experience life with local tribes and people. Originally airing as Kim Byung-man's Law of the Jungle after the creator and "clan leader" Kim Byung-man, "Kim Byung-man's" was eventually dropped from the title. Special editions of the program air as well featuring a different cast not in the regular time slot. Law of the Jungle W features an all-female cast and generally airs during the Seollal and Chuseok holidays. Law of the Jungle K features celebrities with their children, and has aired as a Seollal special in 2013.

Running Man 2010

Running Man is a South Korean variety show; a part of SBS's Good Sunday lineup, along with Barefooted Friends. It was first aired on July 11, 2010. This show was classified as an "urban action variety"; a never-before-seen new genre of variety shows focused in an urban environment. The MCs and guests complete missions in a landmark to win the race. The show has since shifted to a more familiar reality-variety show concept focused on games. It has garnered attention as being the come-back program for Yoo Jae-suk, the main MC of the program, after leaving Good Sunday's Family Outing in February 2010. Airing at the 5 pm KST time slot for most of its run, Running Man switched to the second part of Good Sunday beginning May 6, 2012, airing after Kim Byung-man's Law of the Jungle 2 at 6:10 pm and airing against KBS2 Happy Sunday's 1 Night 2 Days Season 2 and MBC Sunday Night's I Am a Singer 2.

Big Brother Canada 2013

Big Brother is a Canadian reality television show in which a group of contestants, known as "HouseGuests", are sequestered in the Big Brother House, under the surveillance of cameras and microphones, for the chance to win a grand prize of $100,000 by being the last remaining HouseGuest. Each week, the HouseGuests vote to evict one of their own until two HouseGuests remain on finale night. The winner is decided by the last seven evicted HouseGuests, known as the Big Brother Jury. The program is based on the original Dutch television series, Big Brother, created in 1997 by John de Mol. The Canadian series is produced by Endemol USA and Insight Productions. Insight Productions has previously produced local Canadian versions of the popular reality television series, Canadian Idol and Canada's Got Talent. In January 2013, Arisa Cox was named as the show's host. The first season premiered on February 27, 2013. On June 5, 2013, it was confirmed that the show will return for a second season. The winner of the first season was Jillian MacLaughlin.
